Water Emergency? Act Before the Damage Spreads

Clear Guidance From the First Conversation

We understand that water damage and mould can feel urgent and overwhelming. When you contact WDMS, we focus on understanding the situation quickly, explaining the next step clearly and helping you take action without unnecessary delays.

STEP 01

We Assess the Urgency

We ask a few practical questions about the water source, affected areas, when the problem started and whether water is still spreading.

For urgent situations, we may also provide immediate safety guidance while arranging the appropriate response.

STEP 02

We Recommend the Right Next Step

Depending on the issue, we may recommend emergency water extraction, a moisture assessment, structural drying or a mould inspection.

We explain what is likely to happen next, what information may be required and whether an on-site assessment is needed before an accurate scope can be prepared.

STEP 03

We Inspect and Document the Damage

Where attendance is required, we inspect the affected materials, check for visible and concealed moisture and document the condition of the property.

For eligible insurance-related projects, this may include photographs, moisture readings and restoration records to support communication with your insurer, property manager or loss adjuster.

STEP 04

You Receive Clear Recommendations

Once the affected areas have been assessed, we explain what may be restorable, what work is recommended and why.

You receive a clear proposed scope before eligible non-emergency work proceeds, so you can make an informed decision without pressure or unnecessary uncertainty.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How quickly will you respond?

Urgent water-damage calls are prioritised, especially where water is still spreading or creating a safety risk. Response times depend on your location, traffic, technician availability and current emergency demand. Calling is the fastest option for urgent situations.

  • Do you provide 24/7 emergency assistance?

Yes. WDMS accepts emergency enquiries 24/7 for urgent water extraction, flood damage, sewage incidents and other time-sensitive restoration needs. Non-urgent mould inspections and general enquiries may be scheduled during normal business hours.

  • Is the moisture or mould assessment free?

A free initial assessment may be available with eligible approved restoration or remediation work. Standalone reports, laboratory testing, air sampling or invasive inspections may involve additional fees, which will be explained beforehand.

  • Can you provide a quote over the phone?

We can provide initial guidance, but an accurate quote usually depends on the water source, affected materials, contamination level and extent of hidden moisture. Photos may help, although an on-site assessment may still be required.

  • Am I committed to proceeding after submitting the form?

No. Submitting an enquiry does not commit you to any work. We will review the situation, explain the recommended next step and outline any applicable fees before you decide whether to proceed.

Get Clear Answers Before the Damage Gets Worse

Water damage and mould problems rarely improve on their own. The sooner the affected areas are assessed, the better the chance of limiting further damage, reducing disruption and avoiding unnecessary repair costs.

Contact WDMS for practical advice, professional moisture assessment and a clear restoration plan tailored to the condition of your property.

Still unsure what service you need? Describe the problem and we will help identify the right next step.

The Hidden Risk

Why Water Damage Requires Professional Restoration

Water can spread beneath flooring, behind walls, into insulation and through adjoining rooms. Even when the surface appears dry, hidden moisture may continue damaging materials and create the conditions for mould growth.
